2009 Gold Five-Coin Set
Struck from 99.99% pure gold in proof quality the set comprises the five 2009 coins, depicting a kangaroo, dolphin, king brown snake, brolga and echidna.
Limited Mintage
The Perth Mint will release no more than 1,000 1/2oz gold coins; 2,500 1/10oz gold coins and 25,000 1/25oz gold coins depicting any 2009 design. Each set is accompanied by five matching numbered Certificates of Authenticity.
Legal Tender
Issued a legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coins bear the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of HM Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.
Presentation Packaging
Each 2009 gold coin is also available in individual presentation packaging and as part of a three-year 15-coin subscription.
