Dolphin Platinum Coin
Struck from 99.95% pure platinum in proof quality, this coin depicts a unique interpretation of a dolphin – a highly social animal that inhabits bays and estuaries all around Australia. The design is enhanced with a coloured representation of the landscape. Available in two denominations: $50 and $15.
Limited Mintage
The Perth Mint will release no more than 1,000 1/2oz platinum coins and 2,500 1/10oz platinum coins depicting a dolphin. Each coin is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
Legal Tender
Issued a legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coin bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of HM Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.
