Tasmanian Devil Platinum Coin

Struck from 99.95% pure platinum in proof quality, each coin's reverse design represents a Tasmanian devil. Found only in the wilderness of Tasmania it is the largest surviving carnivorous marsupial in the world. A coloured background is incorporated into the design. Available in two denominations: $50 and $15.

Limited Mintage

The Perth Mint will release no more than 1,000 1/2oz platinum coins and 2,500 1/10oz platinum coins depicting a tasmanian devil. Each coin is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.

Legal Tender

Issued a legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coin bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of HM Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.
