Emu Silver Coin
Struck by The Perth Mint from 99.9% pure silver in proof quality, the coin's reverse design represents an emu, a large flightless bird and an Australian emblem. A coloured background is incorporated into the design.
Limited Mintage
The Perth Mint will release no more than 10,000 1oz silver coins depicting an emu. Each coin is accompanied by a numbered Certificate of Authenticity.
Legal Tender
Issued a legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, the coin bears the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of HM Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.

Available in individual presentation packaging, this coin can also be acquired as part of a 2011 Five-Coin Year Set and a three-year 15-coin subscription.
